The decisions that you will have to make are important ones and so it is important that you take the time to consider each subject and how it might best support your aspirations.

The curriculum we offer consists of some compulsory elements, some guided choices and some open choices.  Have a look at the subjects below and then click on the link below to choose your Options.

Options Form

The compulsory elements are:

English Language GCSE	8 hours over a two week timetable
English Literature GCSE	8 hours over a two week timetable
Mathematics GCSE	8 hours over a two week timetable
Biology GCSE	3 hours over a two week timetable
Chemistry GCSE	3 hours over a two week timetable
Physics GCSE	3 hours over a two week timetable

Physical Education (non-qualification, core)	3 hours over a two week timetable
PSHE (non-qualification)	1 hour over a two week timetable
Ethics, Religion and Society  (non-qualification,  core)	1 hour over a two week timetable

In addition, you will have the opportunity to choose one of the following:

Computer Science GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Geography GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
History GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Spanish GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable

 Finally, we offer two further choices from the list below. You will be asked to select four subjects here in order of priority and will be allocated two of them.  In most cases, these will be your two first choices.

Art & Design GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Computer Science GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Design & Technology GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Drama GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Food Studies GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Geography GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
History GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Music BTEC	6 hours over a two week timetable
Physical Education GCSE or Sport BTEC	6 hours over a two week timetable
Psychology GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Religious Studies GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
Spanish GCSE	6 hours over a two week timetable
